Written test: Nearly 410 people attended from 3 colleges for test.

1. First section contains 25 questions on aptitude and within them 3 passages on reasoning was given with 5 questions following it. I don’t remember exact questions. I can give an example…

Eg: 1) Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below:
Six persons A, B, C, D, E and F are sitting in two rows, three in each.
E is not at the end of any row
D is second to the left of F.
C the neighbor of E is sitting diagonally opposite to D.
B is the neighbor of F
1. Which of the following are sitting diagonally opposite to each other?
(a) F and C (b) D and A (c) A and C (d) A and F (e) A and B
2. Who is facing B?
(a) A (b) C (c) D (d) E (e) F
3. Which of the following are in same row?
(a)A and E (b) E and D (c) C and B (d) A and B (e) C and E
4. Which of the following are in one of the two rows?
(a) FBC (b) CEB (c) DBF (d) AEF (e) ABF
5. After interchanging seat with E, who will be the neighbors of D in the new position?
(a) C and A (b) F and B (c) only B (d) only A (e) only C

Rest of 10 questions was on aptitude. Time limit for this is 30 minutes.
2. Next section contains 10 c programs…we need to write outputs on a blank paper. Time limit for this is 10 min. they are very easy.
3. Next section is email writing. Question given to us is: “write an email for your manager Karan who is on his personal time-off/leave. His phone is switched off. You must discuss about an escalation and it is very urgent. Ask him to schedule a call.” Time limit for this is 10 min.
4. Next section contains a program: “write a c program which returns angle between the hours hand and minutes hand when time is given using functions . “ time limit is 30 minutes.
Outputs should be: hours: 9 minutes:0 angle:90
Hours:6 minutes:12 angle:180
Hours:2 minutes:30 angle:105….

Written test was followed by pre-placemen talk for more than an hour. They announced the results after the talk. 113 members qualified in the test.
And next step in the hiring process is technical interview


Technical and hr interview:
For the first 30 people technical interview was held on the same day. For the remaining it was on the next day.
For me, technical and hr rounds were at the same time by the same person. They made it so due to time factor for almost 60 members. Questions were:
1. Introduce yourself
2. What is your family background
3. He asked me to explain the ppt which I mentioned in resume…he asked some more questions on that…I answered.
4. He asked me to write a program which prints average and sum of n numbers….i did it well.
5. He asked me to explain the program given in written test…I explained.
6. What’s meant by call by value, call by reference
7. What is definition of functions
8. Difference between arrays and structures
9. How do you rate yourself in programming
10. Why should we hire you
11. What’s the happiest moment in your life
12. R u interested in further studies
Then he said your interview is done. Do u have any questions to ask?
I asked….and I thanked him and came out of interview hall. I was confident that I would be selected.
