Hyderabad based Infotech to hire 2,000

Bangalore: Infotech Enterprises, a Hyderabad-based technology solution company
with 8,000 people working globally is planning to hire around 2,000
professionals by the end of the current financial year, backed by its growing
business from the existing clients across verticals.
B Ashok Reddy,
president Global HR and Corporate Affairs of Infotech said that the hiring will
be a combination of all the domains that we have, including engineering and GI.
We see more traction coming in and we would certainly like to have more.
Reddy said the visa row did not have any impact on the company as of its total
strength, less than 50 percent was under L1 and H1B visas. "We currently have
780 people on rolls in the U.S. of which about 250 could be under L1 and H1B. In
the case of Wellsco, which we acquired recently, all the 180 resources are
locals. We are safe in there," he added.
