Advice to First Job SeekersDate: 10-Oct-2009
a) For first job seekers I would say that you have to think of not only a job but a profession, a long term career that is a very firm belief I have, now a days first jobseekers are looking at short term scenario, they are looking at jobs. You should have stability in mind. So look at profession, don’t look at a job. b) Relate yourself with the real word and not only with the bookish knowledge. The tendency of people who are recruited from a campus is that they remain very bookish, extremely bookish and they want to carry it to the work place. The work place doesn’t function according to what you have studied.
c) The sooner you try to get out of the course related books, get closer to the real world, read a lot what is currently going on, read news papers, magzines, read as much as possible.
d) Try to get your fundamentals clear that will help you in a big way.
e) Try to keep your eyes and ears open. I keep on telling it to batches after batches that if you are in a particular role you only think of that role. For example- If you are in a credit department, don’t think that your role is only credit. The Bank is a larger place as I said if you are planning long term, you may be the CEO of organization in which you have to do a lot of other things but only if you are planning long term.
f) Read, read and read because that will enhance your value in the job market. The moment prospective employers come to know that you are not only good in credit but you have so much knowledge in other areas of banking, then it’s a big value addition for you. Posted By : Senior Correspondent

Hi there Posted By: new iphone 5 price | Thu, 03 Mar 11 – 06:13:24 PM | Reply
When is definitely the actual iphone five expected to come out? I've verizon and would like to have the apple iphone when my own agreement is up in July, I'd like to know if the apple iphone five is coming out anytime in the future, simply because if so, I might stick it out longer to acquire that instead of the iphone 4. |
