The appointments are on contract basis (without any reference to their
pensions). The period of contract of various levels as Professor -3
years, Associate Professor - 4 years, Assistant Professor - 5 years,
Tutors - 3 years. The contract period may be renewed on satisfactory
performance and subject to the maximum age limit 65 years.
Qualification : As per the MCI norms of minimum qualification for
teachers in Medical Institutions regulations - 1998 / DCI norms.
