NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (NET) EXAMINATION-2010
Agricultural
Scientists’ Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold on 19/09/2010,
a Competitive ARS / NET Examination – 2009 for filling up the 290
vacancies of Scientists in Agricultural
Research Service (ARS) in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100
grade pay Rs.6000 in the ICAR Institutes, combined with National
Eligibility Test (NET) for determining eligibility for recruitment of Lecturers
and Assistant Professors by the State Agricultural
Universities (SAUs).
Age
: - ARS
: A candidate seeking admission to the Agricultural Research Service
must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of
32 years as on 01/08/2010.
- NET : A
candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01/08/2010. There
will be no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
Qualification (for
both ARS and NET) : A candidate must have a Master's degree or
equivalent in the concerned subject.
Fee : The
candidates seeking admission to examination must pay to the Board a fee
of Rs. 1000/- through a Crossed Bank Draft only, drawn in favour of
Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi with the application form.
Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the
Bank Draft in the top corner at the time of submission of application.
No fee from SC/ST candidates.
Last Date : The
complete application form must reach the Secretary, Agricultural
Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, Pusa, New
Delhi-110012 post or delivered in person on or before
20/04/2010. Last date is 04/05/2010 for candidates from
far-flung areas.
