About Institute
K L University, formerly known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) was established in the year 1980. It is one of the first few private Engineering colleges that came into existence with the largest intake in the sate of Andhra Pradesh.
K L University has been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment & Accreditation Council) of UGC for a period of 5 years with a CGPA of 3.76 on a 4 Point Scale at "A" Grade, W.E.F 28th March 2008.
All the nine UG Programs are accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) of AICTE 6 of them for a period of 5 years. K.L.University ia also an ISO Certified institution.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, on the advice of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, declared our institution as an “Institution Deemed - to - be - University" under UGC Act 1956.
