CET college offers degree courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Textile, Fashion Technology, Biotechnology and Architecture. The college also offers MCA degree; M.Arch degree; and M.Tech degree in CSE, IT, Civil(structural) and Industrial Engineering & Management.
Admission of students to our college is strictly on basis of rank scored by students in Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (Orissa JEE). About 85,000 students appear in this entrance examination. The high ranking students below 1000 rank get admitted to this institute.
College of engineering and Technology (CET), was established in 1981 with two branches of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Then the next year (in 1982) we added the department of Electrical Engineering. Subsequently two more branches of Instrumentation & Electronics and Department of Computer Science & Application were added.
