North West Institute of Engineering & technology has been established by Giani Sardara Singh gill Foundation, Dhudike, Disst. Moga, to perpetuate the sacred memory of Gianai Sardara Singh Gill as actively involved with a sense of dedication, in creating social awakening and educational upliftment. He was associated with the setting up of Lala Lajpat Rai Centenary College , Dhuddike. Dhudike is the birth place of Zealous patriot, front-rank freedom fighter, social reformer and a philanthropist, Punjab Kesri Lala lajpat Rai. Gianiji made a noteworthy contribution to the qualitative improvement in the life of the village.
