About Institute
NIPER-Kolkata was started in November, 2007 under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilisers, Govt. of India.NIPER-Kolkata conducts M.S. (Pharm.) course in three specializations, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products and Pharmacoinformatics. The first batch of 29 students graduated in June, 2009, the second batch of 32 students in June, 2010 and the third batch of 40 students in June, 2011. The fourth batch of 49 students are in the third semester and the fifth batch of 47 students have joined in August, 2011 and are in their first semester.
